Foundation of GAU Life Campus will be laid on the second day of the fair with an official ceremony

Activities will be open to public and Uğur Dündar, Tarkan Bulut, Selçuk Erdem and Özlem Tekin will attend and Murat Dalkılıç, Kolpa and Özlem Tekin will take the stage during Spring Fair at GAU.

With ‘One Life, One Love, One World’ slogan and environment theme, GAU Spring Fair will have activities, communes, concerts, theatre plays, film projections, dance shows, DJ performances at campus parties, concerts of university groups, traditional GAU Star Vocal and Beauty Contest, stand-up shows, workshops, seminars, competitions and games to color up the spring atmosphere.

GAU Rector Prof. Dr. Yıldırım Öner, Vice-Rector Asst. Prof. Dr. Olgun Çiçek, Public Relations and Management Director Meral Başer and International Students Supervisor Celal Sakka have attended press conference which was organized at the Millennium Complex RedRoom as speakers. At the press conference, 2012 Spring Fair schedule was announced and participants of GAU Beauty Contest (which is traditionally organized every year) were introduced to the press.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yıldırım ÖNER: “Prime Minister İrsen Küçük will lay the foundation of Karpaz Life Campus”

Prof. Dr. Öner has informed about GAU Spring Fair Schedule, alongside with One Life One Love One World slogan and environment theme this year. He also explained that on the second day of Spring Fair, TRNC will witness an important event in history. In addition, he stated that on 8 May 2012 Tuesday at 11:00 GAU Karpaz Life Campus’ foundation will be laid by the Prime Minister İrsen Küçük. He also pointed that for years no one has made an investment to Karpaz region however, GAU will refresh the area with Life Campus. And with GAU’s investment, Karpaz will turn into a scientific research base which will later change the fate of region. He also emphasized that with the opening of GAU Istanbul Campus, 27 year-scientific knowledge will also be moved to Karpaz campus.
“Traditional Cortege of GAU Spring Fair Will Welcome Important Guests”

2012 Spring Fair starting with the Traditional Girne (Kyrenia) cortege will welcome important guests. With the participation of the doyen of Turkish Press Proficient Journalist Uğur Dündar, at the opening concert new star of Turkish pop music Murat Dalkılıç, star of stand-up world Tarkan Bulut, GAU Star vocal competition, rising in rock music group Kolpa, master artist of Turkish humor & caricature illustrator of Penguen (Penguin) magazine Selçuk Erdem before closing concert commune with Özlem Tekin concert , fun games sponsored by Telsim, theatre plays of university groups, performances of DJs and stands GAU 2012 Spring Fair will all be organized between 7-11 May 2012 at Girne Campus.

Spring fair is going to be organized together with laying foundation of GAU Karpaz Life Campus, One Life One Love One World slogan and environment theme. It will also contribute to almond, walnut, mulberry and pomegranate forests to Dipkarpaz (Karpaz Life Campus premises) and there will be activities and hundreds of saplings will be planted.
