Works named Arda Boyları and Akdeniz Esintileri which was staged by Ankara State Opera and Ballet attracted great attention of TRNC society.

Art night, which was held on 23 June Tuesday at 20.30 in GAU Spectrum Congress Center in cooperation with Girne American University (GAU) and Lapta Municipality, received a standing ovation.

Foreigners who live in Cyprus and tourists also showed great interest to the night and the audience thanked all authorities for organizing this night.

Ankara State Opera and Ballet performers, who have met with the TRNC society for the first time after 20 years, staged their first show in Kyrenia.

Ankara State Opera and Ballet performers, who will hold their second show in Gazimagusa/Ancient Theatre, stated that they are very honored by the hospitality and interest they get in Cyprus.

GAU, which also provide full support to Gazimagusa Municipality along with the Lapta Municipality, experienced the pride of bringing this strong cadre together with TRNC society after 20 years.

After the grandstanding of Arda Boyları and Akdeniz Esintileri, Ankara State Opera and Ballet team were given their appreciation plaques by Girne Amerikan University.

Ankara State Opera and Ballet Art Director Metin Turan received his plaque by the spouse of GAU Chair of the Board of Trustees and reputable painter of Cyprus, Sevim Erdal.

Ankara State Opera and Ballet performer and GAU Faculty of Performing Arts Academic Member Ozgur Adam Inanc were also presented a thank you plaque for his contributions in making this organization.

On behalf of Lapta Mayor Fuat Namsoy, Kemal Huray presented regional souvenirs of Cyprus to the Art Director of Ankara State Opera and Ballet Metin Turan.

Metin Turan recorded that after a very long time, it is their first time in Cyprus and they would be happy to traditionalize it for each year and thanked everyone who contributed.
