Foreign Languages Night, From The American College Students

Operating under the GAU group of schools, the American Future College has prepared a ‘Foreign Languages Night’.

 

Prepared for the ending of the 2014-2015 academic year, the students handcraft artworks gained the interest of many parents in the exhibition. Aiming to develop the perspective of students in Arts, the exercises of students were watched with delight.

 

The head of the American Future College Sevim Kayıkçı made a speech in the event, ‘firstly, I would like to thank students and teachers for the effort they have spent to prepare this show, it has been an intensive year and all students now deserve a good holiday’.

 

3 Languages = 3 single people

 

Besides Turkish the American Future College students are being taught English and French, underlines Kayıkçı and continues with the following expressions ‘3 languages are equal to 3 single people, we are raising alternatively 3 single people by teaching each student 3 different languages’.

 

After the speeches the students danced to French musics and showed their plays which recieved long applause. On stage the nursery ‘Bees’ class performed the English-French  ‘Colours’ song, ‘Frog’ class performed ‘How is the weather today’, ‘La Semaine’ and the ‘Future Farm’ songs. Year 1’s performed the ‘Mon Voyage de six ans’, ‘Clap your hands’ and ‘Dog at the park’. Year 5 students performed the ‘Wizard of Oz’ play and the ‘Half Chicken’. Year 2’s performed plays and Year 4’s performed a famous French play and gathered along applause by parents.

 

The college students performed the Twist, Single Ladies, Lazy Song and finalized by the preparation by Muhsin Gürün with the Michael Jackson show which contributed joy to the show.
