A Leading International Agreement From GAU To Health Sciences

GAU and Jordan’s leading university The Royal University for Medical Sciences have signed an academic cooperation agreement.

A signing ceremony was held in Jordan. For The Royal University for Medical Sciences which is the university leading at health sciences in Jordan and the Middle East, the founder of university Dr. Abd Al-Majed Abd Al-handy Al-Saadon has signed the agreement. And for GAU, the Vice-Chancellor Asım Vehbi has signed the agreement to contribute important progress in High Education related with health sciences and creating difference in the Middle East and North Cyprus.

According to GAU’s statement, the academic co-operation agreement has been signed to take student development to a higher level in Health Sciences education and open new departments. And the main aim is to contribute to the development of healthcare system and medical services of the country. Also providing services in EU standards and implementing new projects for educations have been emphasized.

Asim Vehbi, the Vice-Chancellor, GAU made a statement about the agreement to GAU TV. He reminded that GAU is one of the leading universities in the world which has academic co-operations with 120 universities. He further emphasized that academic co-operation agreement will create an important difference and quality in Health Science Education.

Vehbi also stated that in the agreement alongside with implementing common projects for Medical and Health Science education, there will also be student and instructor exchange programs as well. He emphasized that with this agreement Jordan and TRNC healthcare systems will have comparative information exchange and it will contribute the country’s healthcare system.

Vehbi stated that with opening first GAU campus in Istanbul showed that GAU has added one more campus to the list. He explained that there will be various co-operation agreements about health science and medical services between other universities in Istanbul and medical service institutions which have international authorities. Vehbi pointed that through agreements new projects will be implemented in medical education and services. He ended his statement emphasizing that an important reservoir of information about medical field will be transferred to TRNC and it will make major contributions to country’s healthcare system.
