Girne American University (GAU) in its 30th year in the 2014-2015 academic year, has shown a big success in sports as well as in education, culture and arts.

Cyprus-University Table Tennis Championships, complete with championship Girne American University.

GAU Table Tennis Team, who does not give any sets to its opponents to play, won with a score of 3-0 all the matches and became the undefeated champion.

The team which consisted of Hüseyin Durmaz, Özgün Özturk and Ercem Ruhluel under the management of GAU Sports Coordinator Assist. Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Doğgün, became the champion by defeting METU, NEU and EUL once again.
