Music and Fashion shows swing through the Youth Festival

Celebrating its 30^th academic anniversary the Girne American University is adding another event to its list. Operating under the Group of Schools, the American College has prepared the 1^st Youth Festival due to the 19^th May Youth and Sports Fest.

Within the scope of the arts lectures of 2014-2015 academic years, handcraft fabric clothes have been presented by a dress parade to families and caught their interest. The modern textile design subject are been taught in arts lectures, which has wined recognition from the audience. The students have worn their own handmade dresses and have taken their turn to walk on the podium. The work of the college’s secondary school has conquered the hearts of the audience.

Continuing with the songs sung by the students during the show, their choreographic dances were followed by interested eyes and gained a long applause.

Prepared and held for the first time this year; the American College Youth Festival Fashion Show the American College Music Band continued with their concert. The sports department teachers prepared tournaments day long.

The intense participation of the parents were remarked as being very important at the American College Youth Festival, and it was likeminded that the event should be traditionalised and should be developed in the following years.
