Primary schools around the Kyrenia location attended to athletics races of 100m and 1000m, the GAU Group of Schools student Taygun Dervis broke a record with 13.88 and became the first at the race.

Held in the Kyrenia Ataturk Stadium, under the management of GAU, the American Elementary School and The International Prep School, both, girls and boys team outscored their rivals and shared the first places.

The members of the boys athletics team were; Taygun Dervis, Efe Kande, Toykan Latif, and Taylan Cemal. The members of the girls team were; Suzanne Yorucu, Anastasia Noustya, Deren Saniver and Sonay Avsar.

The American Elementary School and The International Prep School achieved the highest degrees of all in the Long Jump, 100m and 800m High Jump, and in the Relay Race.
