After the commencement of education in the Canterbury Campus in England, the Asia Pacific Campus in Singapore and the US Campus in Washington, the GAU which is the first Turkish university that has opened campuses in Europe, Asia and America, with the opening of the Istanbul campus, has transferred its experience of education in 27 years to the motherland.

Akpınar, who also pointed out that as the first university in Cyprus, the GAU was overwhelmed with the pride of transferring its experience of 27 years in education to the motherland, stated that the Istanbul campus would begin education with six academic programmes.

The GAU Istanbul campus will provide the students of the academic programmes to begin at the GAU-INTEB, English Language Academy (ELA ),Navigation Academy, Aviation Academy, Dance Academy and Information Academy with the opportunity of receiving global education at the GAU intercontinental campuses.
