Celebrating its 30th anniversary in the 2014-2015 Academic Year, Girne American University (GAU) continues to be the leader in the fields of art and culture by creating many differences.

GAU is the main sponsor for the worldwide famous, Turkish Cypriot Concert Pianist, Rüya Taner who performs the 21. Mozart Symphony alongside the National Symphony of Teleradio Moldova. Moldova Management and The Kishinev Ambassador of the Turkish Republic, Selim Kartal gave thanks to GAU.

Due to the successful performance of the 21. Mozart Symphony alongside the National Symphony of Teleradio Moldova by the worldwide famous, Turkish Cypriot Concert Pianist, Rüya Taner, Kishinev Ambassador of the Turkish Republic, Selim Kartal sent a thank you letter to the TRNC Presidency.

The Ambassador stated the following in the letter of appreciation:

 “Organized with the sponsorship of Girne American University, the concert of the 21. Mozart Symphony alongside the National Symphony of Teleradio Moldova that took place in Kishinev and was performed with great success by our worldwide famous, Rüya Taner.

Deputy Minister of Culture in Moldova, Gheorghe Postica participated and shared a speech at the concert. The concert had approximately 500 chosen guests who showed great interest and joy to the concert. Also the concert was released by the Moldova Radio.

With outstanding talent and praise for her performance in Moldova, our artist Rüya Taner, won the admiration of the residant diplomatic corps and also being at the top the work and culture environments.”
