Girne American University (GAU), which celebrates its 30th year, continued to the seminars organized, which are within the context of 2014-2015 Academic Year activities, with the "Friday Seminars".

The Friday Seminar of the Girne American University Faculty of Architecture, Design & Fine Arts, which continuous for 4 years and attracts great interest, was held in GAU Spectrum Congress Hall.

The seminar, which the Italian scientist and lecturer of GAU Department of Architecture and Head of International Centre for Heritage Studies (ICHS) Asst. Prof. Dr. Alessandro Camiz attended as a speaker and with the title of "The Architectural Order Does Not Exist", attracted great interest.

At the seminar, the order issues in architecture and the term "Ordo", meaning order in Italian, were discussed by giving a reference to the thoughts of Vitruvius.
