GAU Discussed Terror in Detail

Girne American University realize the symposium named ‘Islamic state of Iraq and the Levant from psychology politic perspective’ held by Politics and International Relations club in 2014-2015 academic year.

 

GAU Business and Economy Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Ulvi Keser made an opening speech for the symposium ‘Islamic state of Iraq and the Levant from psychology politic perspective’ becoming one of a hot button by Politics and International Relations club. He told that the reason of most of the terrorist actions is natural resource share while indicating that strategic locations of countries are very crucial in development of terror.

 

Assoc. Prof. Dr Hüseyin Işıksal, Dr Bryan Smith, Dr. Enver Gülseven, Assoc. Prof. Dr Ozan Ömerci,  Assoc. prof. Dr Evren Altınkaş and Assoc. prof. Dr Lawrence Emeagwali joined as discussant for the symposium consisted two sessions. The discussants relayed the research results of manners and sanctions of country policy against possible terror in the future while they give a speech about terror progression and areas of influence. The terrorist attack of Islamic state of Iraq and the Levant, making the biggest terrorist action in Middle East, is analysed from politic psychology perspective.
