Girne American University (GAU) Music Education Department Special Ability Entrance Examination is held on 13-14 July.

According to information given by the Head of the Department of Music Education Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Sönmezler, "pre-examination training and meeting’’ event will be held before the special ability entrance exam.

In the pre-exam training and meeting event which will be held on Friday, July 10, 2015, the information such as musical dictation, solfeggio, deciphered, recognition of voice with range and names, hearing sounds as melodic and harmonic, melody and rhythm repetition, ability to use the sound correctly will be relayed.

On the other hand, candidates will have the opportunity to become more familiar with their teacher who will work together during the training process and they will also have to opportunity to consult about the music education program they worry about.

Ability Examination

According to information given by the GAU Department of Music Education, the test measurement and evaluation in ability examination will be held in total 100 scores and Instruments exam will be calculated separately and will be evaluated over 100 points.

Candidates, who passed the entrance exam, shall have the right to register with the Department of Music Education.

Only TRNC citizens will be able to participate to examination.
