Great Interest in GAU Musical Drama Activities

Musical Drama activities that lasted for 3 days with the contributions of GAU Teaching, Mentally Disabled and PreSchool teaching has come to an end.

 

Within the scope of Musical Drama days organized by the lecturers of GAU Faculty of Education Prof. Dr. Süleyman Çelenk and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Azize Ummanel, 3 days longed musical drama training was provided by the lecturers of Abant Izzet Baysal University Faculty of Education Gamze Çalık Çetin and Gülşen Yeğen, thus presenting a certificate of participation at the end of the activities.

 

The importance of drama was emphasized

 

Gamze Çalık Çetin who emphasized the issue of adaptation of pre school children to the academic environment, stated that “Adaptation of children to their environments socially and psychologically, must take place primarily among the expectations of us academicians and parents.”

 

Çetin who underlined that things added to children by the drama is not only associated with education, also stated that drama helps children to develop themselves and stressed that there will be no issues of adaptation of individuals who can act comfortable in social situations, can express themselves and can produce solutions while facing problematic cases.

 

Lecturer Gülşen Yeğen who gave information about the GAU Musical Drama Days, has stated that “The goal in these activities; is for students to gain creative thinking and different perspective on education.”

 

Yeğen informed that they aimed to exchange views and ideas on various methods and techniques that will enable the students to participate actively in the lessons.
