Like every year, Girne American University (GAU) Fencing Team, will be attending to Intercollegiate Fencing Turkey Championships, which will be held in Zonguldak on April 16-18.

GAU, which achieves an outstanding success every year and represents TRNC and GAU in international platforms, departs with Fencing Team like every year, to achieve an outstanding success this year. Ömer Aydin, the Coach of GAU Fencing Team, which got degrees in every competition they have participated this year, stated that they worked very hard this year and that they want to return to the island as a champion.

GAU Fencing team, which is under the administration Aydin, is consisted of Alper Akkuş, Berkay Çağay, Burak İpek, Berker Abacı and Utku Tüz.
