Girne American University (GAU) continues to host national and international conferences in its thirtieth academic year.

In the CypSec-TRNC Cyber Security Conference which will be held in GAU International Congress Center on the dates of 15-16-17 April, applied presentations will be presented by the experts and also a platform which the attendants will be able to find the answers of their questions and experience them practically will be presented.

In the statement, while informing that cyber threats have reached incredible dimensions in today’s world and the investments of companies and governments have increased, it is also emphasized that the aim is personal data of people and with the rise of the greater risks for companies, privacy violations, job loss and service interruptions have been experiencing. Besides, it was stated that the compelling periods are developed for the governments.

It was also informed that within the CypSec’15 in which hackers and security experts will compete with each other, CTF (Capture the Flag) Competition which the finalists will be rewarded with surprise presents and throughout 1 day various trainings will be organized.
