The 23th of April national sovereignty and children`s day that was gifted to children by the great leader Atatürk is going to be celebrated by the colourful events held with the participation of the American Elementary School, The International Prep School, The American Nursery School students which operate under GAU. At the statements made on the topic it was said that “Like every year, we are going to celebrate the 23^th of April with great enthusiasm. The Founding Rector and board of Administrators Serhat Akpınar have always given our children a special value. We have started this organization with his leadership and support.”

The 23^th of April celebration events program

At the statement made by the GAU Schools Group Celebration Unit the following was said:

“With the Children Carnival that we are putting forward within the 23th of April ceremonies that we think will turn out to be more enthusiastic ,this special day  that was gifted to children by the great leader Atatürk is going to be celebrated with joy and enthusiasm. The carnival march of our students in their interesting designed outfits will start after the holiday being celebrated by our Head of Group of Schools Cemile Esenyel and our school principals.”

A Carnival March is going to be held.

The following was said at the statement that emphasized that the carnival march will start from the University road carrying on towards the GAU Karaoğlanoğlu roundabout and from there to the GAU Olympic Field and that afterwards place will be given to the songs that will be presented by all students. “The acrobatics shows put forward with the cooperation of the Cyprus French Institution, C-Quals@GAU, the dance show of the GAU Stage Arts Academy Dance Department students, many plays put forward with the support of the GAU Prep School Teacher Department, events and competitions will be held. Also beverage and food stands will be available until 17.00. All local schools and students are invited to our 1st Children Carnival that is full with many other surprises. We believe that we will provide our children an unforgettable, cheerfully day we plan to put forward every year.
