Kılıç:”GAU is a success story”

Thirtieth year activities of Girne American University (GAU) continued with the seminars which were given by TR former Minister of Youths and Sports Suat Kılıç in the Millenium Congress Center.

GAU Vice Chancellor of the Board Olgun Üstün, Acting Rector Prof. Dr. Sadık Ülker, Assistant Secretary General Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sualp Davut attended to the seminar.

In his statement, Suat Kılıç referred that; “You will dream and take your steps. Then when you look back at your own story, you will understand this; Life of human is more important than the life of nation.”

GAU Acting Rector Prof. Dr. Sadık Ulker who made the opening speech of the seminar celebrated the youths for choosing the most suitable person for this seminar and continued his words as follows;

“Our minister is the most suitable person for the Position of youths in politics commune. In my opinion, being the youngest MP and the youngest minister is not easy especially in a difficult country like Turkey. As the first university in Cyprus, our university established in 1985 with great difficulties. Because in those years, there were no higher education law in the island. Youths were going abroad for the university. Higher education, university were a dream in the island and GAU made this dream come true”
