The Communal Services of GAU Continues

Girne American University (GAU) has concentrated on the community service work that it started in the 2014-2015 academic year.

 

Accordingly GAU Faculty of Education, “Conducting a Conference at the University Project” created within the scope of “Early Childhood Education Department Community Services Course” is being continued with the topic “Fight against Drugs”.

 

A conference titled “Fight against Drugs” will be held on Friday, April 10, 2015, at 10.00 am in the GAU Spectrum Congress Hall.

 

The conference which will be participated as speakers by Director of Youth Department Gencay Eroğlu, Social Worker Expert Barış Başel and Communications Director Cem Kar, will be open to the public.


 “Sound Communities, Happy Individuals”

 

GAU Lecturer Aytaç Dilek stated that they had launched the “Sound Communities, Happy Individuals” slogan for three years now and informed that they will conduct many projects within the scope of “Community Service” course together with Kemal Saraçoğlu Children with Leukemia and Cancer Foundation, Cancer Patients Aid Association, School of Drawing Game Project, Educational Projects in Schools, Audio Books and Sales Projects.

 

Aytaç Dilek who explained that they have been carrying out projects for 4 years for all segments of the society, especially for children as the GAU Faculty of Education Pre-School Teaching and stated that “We will continue to carry out our work in the coming years.”
