Besides GAU Social Responsibility projects, aid for people in social need are continuing.

The GAU English Language and Literature Department students of the Humanities Faculty and the English Language Teaching Department students of the Education Faculty and academic staff Ayse Sat visited Bulent Ecevit Rehabilitation Center this week known as old peoples week.

18th-24th March is celebrated as “Respect for the Old Week” by the world. GAU academic staff Ayse Sat expressed that the visit was undertaken in the aim of increasing awareness and sensitivity for the problems and needs of the old.

After listening to the problems and needs of the Bulent Ecevit Rehabilitation Center members, Ayse Sat stated that “Our old are worthy of being visited and remembered every day and not just at a mear week in a year. We should not leave them deprived of love, respect and attantion. Thus GAU is undertaking a social resposibility act in the aim of raising awareness and sensitivity for for our old. With this in mind GAU’s main aim is to provide solutions for the problems of the both the old and differing social sectorsin their social responsibility projects. We will take the problems and our suggestions for solutions of these problems to the authorities” stated Ayse Sat.

The visit ended with a mini musical concert by the GAU students.
