Girne American University (GAU), which celebrates its 30th year in higher education, continued with the art activities organised in the 2014-2015 academic year. At the play called “Yamuk Yemek”, which children showed a great interest, a warm atmosphere occurred between the children and performers

Like the play called “Çok Soğuk”, which was staged the day before, the play called  “Yamuk Yemek” attracted great admiration by children.

The play named “Yamuk Yemek”, which was staged under the GAU 2nd Theatre Days with the collaboration of Girne American University and Teknogold, was staged at 10:00 am and 12:00 pm, in 2 sessions.

At the end of the play, children stated that they loved the theater, had a very nice time and that they always want to watch the children play and expressed their admiration.

The 40-minutes long play, which is for children older than 6 years old, is written and played by Erkan Uyanıksoy and Elif Temuçin, directed by Torkild Lindebjerg and have been staged successfully for 5 years.

The subject of the play, which is directed by Ceren Oran, played by Deniz Elmas and Alper Baytekin,is as follows;

Deniz has a magical kitchen and Alper is thoroughly hungry. Will Deniz be able to solve the hunger problem of Alper?

2nd Theatre Days, which will continue until March 30 and held at The Girne American University Spectrum hall with 800 spectator capacity, continues with the play called “Sondan Sonra”.
