GIRNE AMERICAN UNIVERSITY (GAU) is celebrating its 30th academic year, whilst Aviation Society is making a big difference in the globalizing, technology and communication world.

GAU Aviation Academy students refereed on 7th international competition of F33 model aircraft.13students refereed this competition from GAU and competitors joined from 13different countries for this competition which in total there are 67 competitors.

GAU Aviation Society’s President Koray TAŞ mentioned that it is an honor to being a referee in F3G non-motorized aircraft championship, and continued stating that the Aviation Academy in GAU, always gives privilege to events like these. According to him, this situation will have a positive effect on their working life. Mr. TAŞ added that: “This contest lasted for 2 days and there were 13 different contest courses. Every competitor had only 10 minutes to make their planes fly and the competitors were scored according to flying skills of the plane."
