THE UNIVERSITY AND GLOBAL HIGHER EDUCATION IS TO ACCEPT  YOUTHS OF KARPAZ AND ISKELE WITH GAU FULL EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP

Girne American University (GAU) announced that in the 2014-2015 academic years which the university celebrates its 30th year, full scholarships in education which is valid in all departments will be granted to student candidates in Karpaz and Iskele for their university education.

With the educational scholarship which will be also valid in the academic programs in GAU UK, USA, Turkey and Hong Kong campuses, student candidates will be given the right for global higher education and to continue their language education in GAU UK Canterbury campus through the English Foundation School.

With the establishment of GAU Karpaz Life Campus, 30 years of GAU scientific knowledge accumulation was carried to Karpaz and it started to change the destiny of the region in a positive way.

GAU stated that before GAU Karpaz Life Campus starts education, full scholarships for higher education will be granted to the student candidates of Karpaz and Iskele.

It was also stated that in the academic programs that will be performed in the GAU UK, Hong Kong, USA, Turkey/Istanbul campuses, the scholarships will be considered valid and without any extra education charges, the student candidates will be able to continue their higher education in the abroad campuses of GAU.

In the statement which was reminded that GAU takes a close interest in the needs of Karpaz institutions pre- higher education, established a computer lab within the social responsibility for the students of Karpaz region to provide them a modern education and also conducted important projects such as restoration and maintenance of schools and classes and also it is remarked that the support of GAU for the local community from pre-school to all education steps will continue with its 30 year-old scientific knowledge and science staff.

It was underlined that they will contribute the improvement of Karpaz particularly with education, economic production and activities and with various projects about culture, sports and art and they will also make important contributions to the agricultural and animal production with the courses about agriculture and breeding under the Continuing Education Center and with the works that will be done under the Agriculture Development Unit.
