After a month of research on March 8, a field study was conducted and in 1 day they successfully completed the research all around the island for the survey. Paşa stated that the purpose of the survey is to research on public opinion about the Presidential elections in an unbiased manner and further evaluated that:
In the survey research 4 different samples were applied with 126 interviewers, overseeing these interviewers were 28 supervisors and coordinating there were 4 coordinators, the total number of participation in the survey is 1532. The survey participation percentage was 45% women, 55% men, the interviewers were educated for beforehand and underlined that these percentages are not roughly outlined but are divided equally and distributed to all the populace of the island. He said that one of the candidates name was not in the survey because at the time of the survey the candidate had not yet become a candidate. The results of the 6 surveys done previously are all similar and that they always maintained their objectives very close.
