Girne American University (GAU) is bringing TRNC Psychological Counseling and Guidance Counselors together in the 2014-2015 academic year-spring semester which the university celebrates its 30th.

1st TRNC Psychological Counseling and Guidance Counselors Summit which was organized firstly in Girne American University will be held in GAU Cyprus Campus Millennium Senate Congress Center at 10.00 am and on Saturday April 4th 2015. In the statement, it was specified that all Psychological Counseling and Guidance Counselors can attend to the Summit, and it was also emphasized that the focus of the organization is vocational education as within the organization there will be 3 sessions which includes application trainings that consists of different topics. It was stated in regards to the issue that, Asst. Prof. Dr. Linda Fraim who has significant achievements in the international platforms, will also be involved in the sessions and also First Session will enlighten the Intervention Techniques in Traumatized Children, Second Session; Drug Addiction and the Third Session; Short-term Solution Oriented Consultation Techniques.
