Girne American University (GAU) performed `Pink paper plane` activity as a part of women`s day activities under the leadership of GAU Faculty of Aviation.

Based on International Women`s day and Aviator Women week, the event performed in GAU Millennium Freedom square is actualized under the name of “flying pink paper plane” activity under the leadership of Gau aviation faculty.  The Dean of Faculty of Architecture, Design and Fine arts,  Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hossein Sadri emphasized these statements:

`First of all , I present thanks on behalf of everybody to Faculty of Aviation for performing such a pleasant activity. Today , Let`s fly our paper planes hoping to live in a world where we could be happier and more free and especially where the women is kept away and protected from stress and violence.

Within the event, GAU Faculty of Performing Arts  Director, Assoc.prof.dr Tülin Bodamyalı also stated that:

`` I don`t really feel like celebrating the  8 March International Women`s Day. Because I will  celebrate it heartily only when I see the value of the women is enhanced in the social ranking. Besides, I present thanks to everybody who contributed for this activity which has a significant meaning.
