Vechi stated further in the statement about the sister university KAU as followed;

“Our work with the Cyprus American University yet continues and everything is going well up until now. We have received our YODAK approval 3 months ago and we have sent required documents to YÖK. Our YÖK approval will arrive in a short time. One of our missions is to give the Walled City its old texture again. The landscape we witnessed was heartbreaking when we first started our work; unfortunately it had lost its texture. Our other mission is to provide a liberal education. We will provide an education according to a pattern in line with the capabilities of students as the American education system, but in a way that the student can grow and develop. Currently we have 3 faculties here; Faculty of Fine Arts, Faculty of Business Administration Economics and Faculty of Political Science. There are 6 departments in total and we can start accepting students from September if god gives strength. With such an institution in the region, this will put a smile on the face of our tradesmen.”

Vechi has stated in a statement about evaluation satisfaction survey which was conducted by the Kyrenia Research Institute within GAU as follows;

“We, as GAU and KAU, are not a research institute that works in accord with the fund provided from any party or people. Such thing is not even questionable. We wanted to investigate it and we asked from people to support us. Next Sunday, we will also realize a public survey about the presidential election and will notify the results of the public survey to everyone openly with every detail.”
