The European Hotel Management Union (EURHODIP) who determine global tourism and education in tourism have begun to arrive in the TRNC to attend a meeting that is being held for the first time at the GAU Cyprus Kyrenia Campus.

The meeting is to be held between 23-25 March at the GAUs’ Cyprus Kyrenia Campus Millenium Complex Senate Conference Hall and will be attended by 350 EURHODIP members from 40 countries

Nafiya Guden pointed out the work and contribution made by the GAU Tourism and Hospitality department and the importance of recognition for the TRNC by GAU joining the board of directors of the EURHODIP together with countries like Belgium, Germany, France, United Kingdom and Slovenia who influence European tourism and education in tourism and stated that the chairman of the EURHODIP Drs. Cees van der Klip and visiting committee members will come together with statesmen and members of the press on Friday 23 March 2012 at 19.30 for a Press Conference and inauguration dinner at the Cratos Hotel.

Nafia Güden stated that it’s an advantage for the meeting to take place in TRNC since it supports the TRNC higher education and tourism’s development which are among the locomotive sectors, and added that the said practices will substantially contribute to the country’s tourism. Emphasizing that the universal power of science has once again broken the isolations, Nafia Güden stated that the host committees will hold official talks.
