Refiker, “The Tradition Will Not Change”
GAU’S LECTURER REFIKER, MADE IMPORTANT STATEMENTS ABOUT THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS
Girne American University’s Lecturer and Sociologist, Derviş Refiker has reported important statements via broadcast concerning the Presidential Elections.
Girne American University’s Lecturer and Sociologist, Derviş Refiker stated that, throughout the history of the TRNC Presidential Elections, the arguments and parameters will also be included in the 2015 elections. Instead of concentrating on the voters’ attitude on national politics, he emphasized that they should be concentrated on international politics and South Cyprus Greek Administration and Greece through the dialogues and negotiating partners.

Along with the commencement of the official elections, Refiker pointed out that on the right the candidate is, President Dr. Derviş Eroğlu, on the other hand from central and floating votes, Dr. Sibel Siber and Kudret Özersay. Also standing between left and central Mustafa Akıncı. It was also stated that a message on their current views and national politics amongst voters has a discreet message which creates a huge void.

Refiker emphasized that, the Turkish Cypriot community revealed their self-control throughout the unsolved Annan Plan in the referendum today and not being a member of the EU isn’t comprehended as the end of the world.
