Within the 2014-2015 Academic Year as Girne American University (GAU) celebrates its 30th year, Erman Toroğlu has held a speech in which students showed great interest in.

With the investments made by Crystal Cove Hotel, at GAU’s Kyrenia Campus, The International Congress Spectrum Hall, hosted by moderator of football intelligence writer Mehmet Yılmaz Şenol, where Erman Toroğlu answered the students questions about football. He also spoke about the events that happened throughout the history of football, the wrongs and how the situations should have been handled.

After the speech, Toroğlu announced the following to GAU’s TV reporters;

Toroğlu: “ You are so lucky to be studying at GAU, a school with such effective vision and mission”

He said, “This is my third time visiting Cyprus. I see Cyprus as a pleasurable place. I really love Cyprus, and the education in Cyprus. I felt that Cyprus is an entertaining place for students. Especially Girne American University, it has transformed Kyrenia into a student city. Education and diplomas are very important factors. The university period is the most pleasurable and joyful time of your life. Finishing university and having a diploma isn’t enough on its own, the important thing is how much we improve ourselves during this period, and how much we benefit from social activities. I found out that, be it academically or socially, GAU is amongst the top 100 universities around the world. You are so lucky to be studying at GAU, a school with such effective vision and mission. They asked good and logical questions. Even though i don’t participate in many university seminars the seminar i participated at Girne American University was pleasant. Especially being with the younger generation, which was nice.”

At the end of the ceremony, the Head of GAU’s Health, Culture and Sports Department Türkay Akpınar presented Erman Toroğlu and Mehmet Yılmaz Şenol a plaque of apprecitation.
