Giving education under the school groups of Girne American University The American Elementary School students got their reading certifications at the Reading ceremony.

Ceremony that took place at Cyprus Kyrenia Campus Millenium Complex Senate Congress Centre, The American Elementary School 2014-2015 academic years first year students was presented with their reading certificates. GAU Vice Chancellor of The Board and Head of School Groups Cemile Esenyel along with parents participated to the ceremony.

While going without unnoticed that parents got excited as much as children in this special children’s day, American Elementary School Principal Mine Ağdaç who performed speech at the ceremony stated that;   

“As American Elementary School we came to these days with successful training program. Now you became literate, we are proud with the success you have shown. All of you are the individuals that understands what they read, indicating your needs by writing and also your families were with us all the way during this process. I congratulate all of you for your outstanding achievements you displayed”. 

During the rest of the ceremony choir formed with students, demonstrated English, French and Turkish songs and poems and presented a dance performance. Students after the show, held Nature and Health themed speeches. After that at the ceremony which “one day at school” themed slideshow was held, students received their reading certificates from GAU Vice Chancellor of the Board and Head of School Groups Cemile Esenyel and from their teachers.
