Girne American University who celebrates its 30th year in 2014-2015 academic year, brought together the world famous dancer Lukas McFarlane with dance enthusiasts.

The participants were provided education by the world famous dancer Lukas McFarlane alongside GAU Performing Arts academicians Galip Emre and Suzie Heijari at the 1st workshop organized under GAU Stage Arts School in TRNC.

Dance enthusiasts also showed great interest in the GAU Performing Arts workshop where Lukas McFarlane presented contemporary dance genre, Galip Emre functional dance and hip-hop dance genre, Suzie Heijari Contemporary and Modern Dance genre. The participants had enjoyable moments while receiving education in various dance forms.

Lukas McFarlane made a statement at the end of the workshop where he stated that it was a successful workshop and he was very pleased with the participation. Mcfarlane who stated that this was his first time in Cyprus, emphasized that he has admired the natural beauty of the island`s history, GAU’s campus environment as well as the dance studios.

Certificates were presented to the participants after the workshop.
