Upon the invitation of Diyarbakır Chamber of Architects Branch, Girne American University Dean of Faculty of Architecture Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hossein Sadri and Head of Interior Architecture Department Assoc. Prof. Dr. Senem Zeybekoğlu have attended to a seminar entitled “Architecture Ethics and Publicity of Place”.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Senem Zeybekoğlu who have participated in the seminar have emphasized on socio-political  values and utilization methods of public places and also underlined the basics of causes of alterations and the process on places. Zeybekoğlu also mentioned the importance of being participative, embracive, transparent and fair in regards to the sensitivity on production of places.  

Dean of Faculty of Architecture Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hossein Sadri, following Assoc. Prof. Dr. Senem Zeybekoğlu’s speech, has held a speech on the Scale of Vocational Ethics in Architecture. Sadri initially spoke about the history of Architecture Profession and the detach of this profession from the structural process towards to a scaled architecture thus in this sense importance of ethics will not be discussed in any scale, he criticized.

Following the presentations, the participants and the speekers have realized an interactive discussion session specially on architecture profession in Turkey and the transformation of Chamber of Architects.
