The Department of Preschool Education is a teacher training program that started accepting students in the 2008-2009 academic year. The applied program, T.C. It consists of theoretical and applied courses on the development, psychology and education of 0-6 year old children, determined by the Council of Higher Education.
In the program, preschool teachers who will train individuals who are creative, independent, entrepreneurial, self-confident, innovative and believe in change, social, teamwork, and have advanced problem-solving skills are trained in the program. In the applied program, T.C. Determining the needs and developmental characteristics of children aged 0-6, determined by the Council of Higher Education; preparing, implementing and evaluating training programs in accordance with the identified needs and developmental characteristics; different approaches and practices in the education of preschool children; establishing close relationships with children and their families; cooperation with families in preschool education and family education; It is aimed to gain knowledge, skills, positive attitudes and competencies in cooperation with families, institutions and other professionals in the solution of preschool children and educational problems. In order to achieve the goals of the program, studies are carried out in line with the outputs of the preschool teaching program, taking into account the following international standards.

I. Semester
MB-Introduction to Education (2-0-2-3)
Basic concepts of education and training; aims and functions of education; the relationship of education with other fields and sciences; legal, social, cultural, historical, political, economic, philosophical and psychological foundations of education; method in educational sciences; school and classroom as an educational and learning environment; current developments in the teaching profession and teacher training; educational trends in the twenty-first century.
