h regard to People with Disabilities has been held by the Chair of Cyprus Orthopedic Handicapped Association - Günay Kibrit under the 15th Research in Practice Friday Seminars organized by Girne American University Faculty of Architecture, Design and Fine Arts.

The Chair of Cyprus Orthopedic Handicapped Association - Günay Kibrit explained further that the terminology of disability and disabled must be alternatively used as “differently abled”. Kibrit made emphasis to various handicaps that are implemented by the community and also underlined the support campaigns that are organized by the Orthopedic Handicapped Association.

At the final phase of the seminar, the previous meeting of Cyprus Orthopedic Handicapped Association and the Girne American University was spoken of and wished for further enhanced integrations between the Association and the University. Günay Kibrit thanked the University for undertaking this type of organization.

Finally at the end of the seminar, Coordinator of Girne American University Faculty of Architecture, Design and Fine Arts Friday Seminars and Head of Painting Department - Assist. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Adil and the responsible person for Human Factor in Design course and also the Head of Interior Architecture Department - Assist. Prof. Dr. Senem Zeybekoğlu Sadri, presented the Chair of Cyprus Orthopedic Handicapped Association - Günay Kibrit with a plaque of appreciation.
