MOBBIG Meeting at GAU
Communication Group of Department Heads of Schools of Architecture reported that the 37th of the meeting will gather more than 70 Deans, Heads and representatives of the Architecture Faculty and Department of Turkey and TRNC and the meeting will be held on 3-4 October in GAU Millennium Senate Congress Hall. The meeting will also gather the Chair and Vice-Chairs of Turkey and TRNC Chamber of Architecture and Architecture Accreditation Council and members of institutions, councils, commissions and working groups regarding Architectural Education, Acceptation into Profession and Ethics and Law of Architectural Profession to realize presentations.
GAU stated that meeting will focus on presentations of the commission and working groups, Accreditation Works and Experiences in Architecture, Academic Programs of New Departments, MİAK memberships and MOBBİG commission member selection and finally the next MOBBİG host and the setting the agenda. Finally it has been added that TRNC non-governmental organizations are expected to show deep interest in the meeting.
Assist. Prof. Dr. Sadri; “Global Architecture will be Discussed in GAU”
Vice-Dean of GAU Architecture, Design and Fine Arts Faculty has reported that 37. MOBBIG meeting will contribute for the cooperation in regards to detect recent problems in architecture and reach possible recommended solution.Besides the presentationsof commission and working groups 37th MOBBING agenda is set to discuss;Accreditation Works and Experiences in Architecture, Academic Programs of New Departments, MİAK memberships and MOBBİG commission member selection and finally the next MOBBİG host and the setting the agenda. Sadri added that this meeting is rather part of international corporations and organizations thus hosting such important meetings are indeed significantly related with efficientacademic role of the Faculty.Sadri finally reported that the Faculty will remain on the agenda of Turkey and the region thusin this respect will host the international symposium of the most prestigious academic meetings of Middle East and Mediterranean, the CAUMME.
