The “Art & Design Week” events which to be realized by GAU Architecture, Design and Fine Arts Faculty between the dates of 25-28 of February has been commenced with the opening ceremony held in Technopark exhibition hall.

GAU CEO and Vice-Chancellor of Board of Administrators Dr. Asım Vehbi has stated in the speech held in the opening ceremony that “ There is a lot of effort contributed to this exhibition by both our academic staff and students. I have acknowledged through our Dean that this event week is unique for GAU. This has really honored me. Graphic Design is a significant profession in today’s world. A profession which drafts many projects through a scope of marketing to product design. Beside all these, Architecture, Design and Fine Arts Faculty is one of a successful faculties which embraces many number of students and academicians. I congratulate all whom contributed to this exhibition

The opening ceremony was held by GAU CEO and Vice-Chancellor of Board of Administrators Dr. Asım Vehbi, GAU Rector Prof. Dr. Yıldırım Öner and Faculty Heads. The exhibition was greatly participated by the GAU academic staff and students.

The “Art & Design Week” which would initially be realized for the first time in the world on 28th of February- Thursday by GAU will hold exhibitions, workshops, seminars and excursions. The statement made by the Graphic Design and Fine Arts Faculty emphasizes that the week will be productive with the pieces of students of Graphic Design and Art Department to be exhibited and implication and seminars which would be realized.
