Important Announcement for GAU Summer 2017 Semester Registration:

• As per decision taken by the University Board of Directors’, students on academic probation can take a maximum of 2 new courses and repeat 1 course (maximum 9 credits)

• Registered students may take a maximum of three new courses (maximum 9 credits) providing that their CGPA is 2.00 and above and there are no course clashes.

• Students who have 4 courses left to graduate can take these courses (total credit hours not to exceed 12 and do not have any F grades) with the approval of the Faculty and department providing that they have a feasible CGPA for graduation at the end of the summer term.

• Students who have successfully completed the Foundation English Program can take maximum number of 3 new courses from the first year of their department studies; providing that no clashes occur in the schedule.

• Graduating students, wishing to increase their CGPA can repeat a maximum number of 3 courses. Their latest grades will be shown on their transcripts.

• The registration period of the Summer 2017 Semester is from 19th June- 30th June 2017. As of 3rd July 2017, students will be charged a late registration fee of 25 Euros per working day.  Students will not be allowed to register after 6^th July 2017.

• Courses for the Summer 2017 Semester will start on 22^nd June 2017.

Class attendance is compulsory. Medical reports will not be accepted for late registration.  

• No “Add/Drop” will be allowed during the Summer Semester.

• Students registering for Summer 2017 Semester are required to close their debts from the previous semesters. This year 2 installments will be provided for our summer school fees.

• Payments for Summer Semester 2017 will be made per credit taken. No additional activity fees will be charged.

• Students that register for a total of 9 credits (3 courses) regardless of their current scholarship/discount will automatically receive 50% discount for Summer School. Students who are in the graduating position, who will take less than 9 credits or take more than 9 credits will be given a 50% discount providing that these are their final courses.

• English Foundation Summer School 2017 fees will be discounted at 750 €.

• Students that register for a maximum of 6 credits (2 courses) who do not have any Scholarship or tuition fee discounts or have either 20% or 25% discounts will receive a 40% discount for Summer School 2017.

• According the Rules & Regulations of GAU, students taking Summer Semester 2017 in another University will not be accepted at GAU. (These courses will be non-transferable). In exceptional cases, upon approval of the Rectorate Office these courses will be transferred. Applications for the Rectorate Office must be made between 29^th May 2017 – 7^th June 2017. Late applications will not be accepted.

• The registration rules of the students on the Work Team list will be defined according to the demand of the unit. These students should visit Student Accounts Department in order to submit their applications in the nearest future.
